A project to replace the bridge on Lake Road, between Dalewood Lane and Pecan Road, will begin on Monday, February 23, 2026. The contract time for the project is 75 calendar days with an anticipated completion date of May 8, 2026, barring weather delays.
Lake Road will be closed at the bridge during the entire project:
• Traffic bound for destinations west of the bridge must enter Lake Road from 14th Street.
• Traffic bound for destinations east of the bridge must enter Lake Road from Pecan Road.
A signed detour route for thru traffic will be on:
• Pecan Road, between Lake Road and Hartford Avenue.
• Hartford Avenue, between Pecan Road and 14th Street.
• 14th Street, between Hartford Avenue and Lake Road.
