Law enforcement officials are searching for a 42-year-old woman who went missing near Kaw City Wednesday morning.
Amanda Rogers was last seen at her home with her children and husband about 9:15 a.m. Wednesday morning Kay County Sheriff’s Office officials said . The husband and the children found her pickup near Rocky Ridge Road, just south of Coleman Road, in the Kaw City area about an hour later.
She was believed to be on foot, wearing a blue, tie-dyed shirt, red or pink shorts and flip flops.
Kay County officers have been assisted in searching for Rogers by other agencies and used multiple drones in a heavily wooded area.
