TONKAWA-
After a single-vehicle crash on Monday just after 6 p.m. in Kay County, one person is dead according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
According to OHP, the driver, traveling northbound on Interstate 35 near Tonkawa struck a cable barrier along the highway, causing the car to roll over several times, ejecting the driver from the vehicle.
The driver, 67-year-old William Russell Fannin Jr. of Bayou Vista, Texas, was pronounced dead at the scene.
OHP said a passenger, who has not been identified, was uninjured.
The accident is being investigated by OHP.
