Every year, Ponca City Main Street hosts Goblins on Grand, the region’s premier family-friendly Halloween Carnival, set against the backdrop of our beautiful historic downtown. In collaboration with the City of Ponca City, local businesses, clubs, churches, and various community organizations, our program creates a fun and safe trick-or-treating experience for all.
PCMS is very excited to announce that for the second year in a row, there will be no charge for participants to attend the event, and no wristbands will be needed. Goblins on Grand will take place on the 3rd Thursday of October, October 16th, with a rain date scheduled for the 4th Thursday, October 23rd. The festivities run from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
During the event, Grand Avenue will be closed to traffic from 1st to 7th Streets, allowing families to explore up to 100 vendor booths offering trick-or-treating and games, food and dessert trucks, and visit a petting zoo. Trick-or-treaters are encouraged to bring their own bags to collect candy and other goodies.
This year marks the 19th anniversary of Main Street hosting Goblins on Grand, a beloved event that has become a cherished tradition for families in Ponca City and the surrounding areas, consistently drawing some of the largest crowds to our downtown each year. We’re thrilled to share that this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever, thanks to our exciting new partnership with Charity Angel Ambucs and Heather Cannon Honda!
