Evans and Associates Construction Company, Inc. of Ponca City has entered a contract with the City of Ponca City to construct a new 12-inch water line and new street paving improvements along First Street from Central Avenue to Grand Avenue.
Work is set to begin on Monday, January 12, 2026. The total construction time for the project is estimated to be 30 calendar days barring any delays due to weather. During the entirety of the project, First Street from Central Avenue to Grand Avenue will be closed to all traffic. Vehicles will not be permitted in the work area. Signing and barricades will be in place informing motorists of the construction.
