DUNCAN, Okla. –

An investigation into a teacher is ongoing after an alleged incident at a Duncan school, according to police.

The Duncan Police Department says on Dec. 17, officers responded to a local hospital, where they say a child was being treated after being stuck with a needle by a teacher.

After arriving at the scene, DPD says officers were told multiple children had been stuck.

Duncan Public Schools says the teacher allegedly involved in the incident has been placed on administrative leave. School officials say parents of the impacted students have been contacted.

Officers say since the case involves children, they cannot release any further details.
