OKLAHOMA CITY – Attorney General Gentner Drummond was inducted into the Oklahoma Military Hall of Honor during a Veterans Day ceremony in Enid on Tuesday. The Oklahoma Military Heritage Foundation also named Drummond its Air Force Legacy Veteran of the Year for 2025.

“Serving our great county in the United States Air Force was the greatest honor of my life,” Drummond said. “I am extremely grateful to the men and women with whom I served, and to the many others who bravely made the decision to serve our country and defend our freedom. I am honored to receive this award and to join Oklahoma’s Military Hall of Honor.”

Drummond began his path to the military as a member of the Air Force ROTC at Oklahoma State University. He went on to serve in the Air Force for eight years as a fighter pilot, earning the rank of captain.

He is a Gulf War veteran who completed 40 combat missions, accrued more than 200 combat hours and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, three Air Medals and four Aerial Achievement Medals.
