The City of Ponca City’s annual Autumn Leaf Collection program will run through January 23, 2026. Residents who want their leaves collected are asked to follow these guidelines:

Bagged Leaves:
Place bagged leaves in your regular refuse pickup area. They will be collected free of charge through January 23, 2026, with a limit of 10 bags per pickup day.
Loose Leaves:
Place loose leaves within three feet of the curb, but not in the street gutter. Leaves in the gutter can block storm drains, and placing them there may result in a citation under city code.
Alley Collection:
Loose, unbagged leaves WILL NOT be collected in alleyways.
Mulched or Mixed Leaves:
Leaves that are mulched or mixed with grass will only be collected by special pickup.
City crews will work through each section of town, and due to the large volume of leaves, collection may take two weeks or longer. The crews start in the Southeast part of town and work around to Northeast, Northwest, and Southwest….repeat. It is impossible to give a date of your exact address. Everything depends on the amount of leaves in the area, equipment malfunctions, weather, etc.
