Amazon plans to build four new delivery facilities in Oklahoma, including a same day delivery site in Broken Arrow and three rural delivery stations across the state.
The Broken Arrow facility will be built near East 81st Street and 193rd East Avenue. Amazon says the site will create more than 100 jobs and is expected to open later next year.
The location will operate as a same day delivery station, allowing orders to be fulfilled, sorted and delivered from one facility. The company says that setup helps speed up delivery times for customers in the region.
In addition to the Broken Arrow site, Amazon is opening rural delivery stations in McAlester, Weatherford and Perry.
The delivery station in McAlester is already operating. The Weatherford and Perry locations are expected to open later this year.

The expansion is part of Amazon’s broader effort to strengthen its delivery network in rural communities and improve access to faster shipping in less densely populated areas.
Once all four locations are operating, the new facilities are expected to support hundreds of delivery operations across the state while creating new jobs and expanding service options for Oklahoma customers.
