On June 18th, PCPD Officers responded to the Valero gas station at Oak and Grand. When they arrived, a clerk reported that a man had stolen a key ring from the store which included the clerk’s car keys, house keys and keys to the store. Officers searched the area and located a male subject matching the description provided by the clerk.
As Officers continued their investigation, they confirmed the subject had multiple outstanding warrants out of Kay County for Grand Larceny, Knowingly Concealing Stolen Property and for Failing to Appear on other charges. When he was arrested for his warrants, Officers located a firearm in his possession and the keys that belonged to the clerk from the convenience store.
At that time, the Officers arrested 55 year old Jason Stark for his warrants, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Knowingly Concealing Stolen Property and Petit Larceny. These are arrests, not convictions.
