The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotic’s Anti-Meth Task Force has been working closely with several local law enforcement agencies to target and dismantle a major meth trafficking organization moving large shipments of meth into central and northern Oklahoma. This investigation involved OBN, the Ponca City Police Department, Perry Police Department, Kay County Sheriff’s Office, Noble County Sheriff’s Office, and the Oklahoma City Police Department.
“Since the launch of this investigation in July, they identified several individuals frequently purchasing pounds of methamphetamine from a source in the Oklahoma City area and then transporting the meth back to the Ponca City area for distribution.” —OBN Spokesman Mark Woodward

On August 19, 2025, the agencies involved in this investigation conducted a traffic stop and executed a Search Warrant at a home in the Oklahoma City area as part of this ongoing case. Investigators seized several pounds of meth, a stolen firearm, several thousand dollars in cash, and made three arrests. Those in custody are Michael Jeffrey Thomas Hogue of Ponca City, Esther Carlen Brown of Ponca City, and Dameon Dashane Alston of Oklahoma City.
“This was an outstanding cooperative investigation and I want to express my appreciation to our local law enforcement partners who helped us halt this meth pipeline into northern Oklahoma. Meth remains one of Oklahoma’s leading killers and my agency is committed to aggressively targeting these drug trafficking organizations that threaten the safety of our citizens.” —-OBN Director Donnie Anderson
