Motorcyclists From Marland Suffers Injuries in Crash

A crash early Monday morning in Kay County left a motorcyclist injured.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a motorcyclist who was hurt when he crashed early Monday morning around 2:15 near E. South Avenue and Kelley Road.

54-year-old Earl Bottger, was riding his motorcycle from Ponca City to Marland when according to a report he missed a curve and ran off the road.

Bottger was taken to an Oklahoma City hospital.

He suffered a broken neck and femur.

Reports say he was not wearing a helmet.
