On Tuesday, May 13th, investigators with the Osage County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with the Kay County Sheriff’s Office, Ponca City Police Department, District 8 District Attorney’s Office, and the Arkansas City Police Department, executed a search warrant at a residence in Ponca City.
The warrant resulted from a joint investigation into a recent string of vehicle burglaries spanning multiple jurisdictions, including Osage County, Kay County, Payne County, and Arkansas City.
The search led to the recovery of stolen property from several jurisdictions, including Osage County, as well as multiple stolen firearms.
As a result of the investigation, multiple juvenile suspects have been identified. Criminal charges are being submitted to the Oklahoma Office of Juvenile Affairs.
