Cleveland County deputies arrest driver in wrong lane, uncover weapons and drugs

Early Monday morning, Cleveland County Sheriff deputies arrested a driver traveling in the wrong lane on Shields Boulevard.

The car was driving northbound in the southbound lane when deputies made the traffic stop.

Inside the vehicle, deputies recovered a weapon, ammunition, drug paraphernalia, and packaged drugs.

Terry Evans, who was driving the vehicle, was found to be a convicted felon and was arrested.

Evans was charged with multiple charges in connection with the traffic stop and illegal items found within the car.
