OKLAHOMA CITY  – The latest addition to Attorney General Gentner Drummond’s 10 Most Wanted list is accused of a murdering an Ada woman earlier this year following a violent altercation at a residence. Heather Lynn Harjo, 38, is wanted for the April 28 death of Summer Cheyenne Martin, 21.

According to investigators, Martin was visiting a friend at his Ada residence when Harjo and another man arrived at the home. An argument broke out between the women, escalating into a physical fight. Martin allegedly tried to hit Harjo with a power tool, but a witness stopped her. Harjo then fatally shot Martin, according to police. She fled the scene immediately after the shooting.

“It is our hope that Oklahomans can help lead to the capture of this dangerous individual,” Drummond said. “The 10 Most Wanted list has proven to be a valuable tool in helping law enforcement track down fugitives from justice.”

Harjo, who also goes by the aliases Heather Thompson and Heather Lynn Brown, should be considered dangerous.

The Attorney General’s Office is partnering with the Eastern District U.S. Marshal’s Task Force to find her.

Since its creation in September 2024, the 10 Most Wanted program has resulted in the apprehending of 12 fugitives accused of crimes including murder, rape, drug trafficking and indecent acts with a child.

To learn more about the other fugitives still at large, go to the Attorney General’s 10 Most Wanted page. In some cases, financial rewards ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 are offered for information directly leading to the arrest of an individual on the list.
