The 33rd Annual Ponca City Herb Festival will return to the beautiful Cann Memorial Botanical Gardens on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This free, rain-or-shine event has become one of Ponca City’s most beloved annual traditions, drawing visitors from across the region to celebrate gardening, local artisans, and community spirit in the scenic 10-acre botanical gardens.

More than 100 vendors will fill the gardens with herbs, flowers, plants, vegetables, handmade goods, antiques, garden décor, artisan crafts, and specialty products. Guests can enjoy live entertainment, children’s activities, delicious food vendors, and educational workshops throughout the day while exploring the historic Cann House and garden grounds.

This year’s festival theme, “Hope Grows Here,” reflects the mission behind the event. Proceeds from the Ponca City Herb Festival support Survivor Resource Network, Inc., a nonprofit organization serving survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and homelessness throughout north central Oklahoma. Survivor Resource Network provides emergency shelter, advocacy, prevention education, housing support, and crisis services to individuals and families across the region.

Gardening has always been deeply connected to healing,” said Tara Tyler, Executive Director of Survivor Resource Network. “There is something powerful about planting, nurturing, and watching things grow. The Herb Festival brings people together in a space filled with beauty, peace, and community, and that reflects so much of what we hope to provide for survivors and families every day. Hope grows slowly sometimes, but it still grows.”

Educational speakers and demonstrations throughout the day will include Yoga on the Lawn at 8 a.m. with Sara BuffaloHead-Bell of Native Strength Revolution, followed by Richard Keathly of Keathly Nursery & Landscaping at 9 a.m., Jamie Sawyer at 10 a.m., and “Money in the Garden” with Kat Long of the Ponca City Development Authority at 11 a.m. At 11:30 a.m., Simple Moria will present a kokedama demonstration, followed at noon by the always-popular Miss Suzi’s Singing School with Suzi Lenhart. An additional kokedama workshop hosted by Simple Moria will be held at 3 p.m. inside the historic Cann House. Registration information can be found through their website and Facebook page.

The Ponca City Herb Festival is more than a day of shopping and gardening—it is a celebration of community. By attending, visitors help support local vendors, preserve and highlight the beauty of the Cann Memorial Gardens, and strengthen the work of Survivor Resource Network as it continues providing shelter, advocacy, and support services to survivors and families throughout north central Oklahoma.
