101 Wild West Rodeo runs June 12, 13 and 14 at the rodeo grounds on East Prospect.
On Saturday, June 14th at 10:00 am, the spirit of the Old West comes alive on Grand Avenue in downtown Ponca City with the 101 Wild West Rodeo parade. The parade is a beloved tradition featuring colorful floats, marching bands, horseback riders, and Western flair that the whole family will enjoy. The parade is a true celebration of the Wild West, and it is a great way to experience the spirit of the West in a fun and festive atmosphere.
PCPD officers will begin placing barricades and clearing Grand of all vehicles that are not associated with the parade at 8:30 Saturday morning and barricades will remain in place until around noon. Grand will be shut down from Ash to 6th Street for the parade so, please make plans for other travel routes during that time if you plan on driving through that area.
Bring your lawn chairs, grab your cowboy hats, and line the streets for one of Ponca City’s favorite events of the summer.
After the parade the library will have fun activities for the kids and a meet and greet with 101 rodeo personalities.
