Local Man Arrested on Child Pornography, Peeping Tom Charges

On April 21, Ponca City Police Department investigators arrested Ponca City Resident, 39 year old George Robert Castanon for Manufacturing and Possessing Child Pornography and Felony charges of Peeping Tom.
On April 19, 2022 Castanon’s girlfriend found disturbing content on a portable media storage device owned by Castanon. When she viewed the content, Castanon’s girlfriend located what appeared to be video footage and images of a juvenile female and she immediately contacted the Ponca City Police Department.
Ponca City Police Department Detectives who are commissioned with the OSBI Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force took over the investigation and executed search warrants on multiple media devices owned by Castanon. These devices were a concealable camera, a cell phone, a laptop computer and other portable digital media storage devices.
As a result of those search warrants, investigators located multiple files, including video footage of a juvenile female who was unaware she was being recorded. Castanon was questioned by investigators and he admitted to secretly making recordings with a hidden camera.
