Lincoln Elementary Student Council

The Lincoln Elementary Student Council challenged students and staff to collect canned food to help families in need.

The drive lasted from November 1 through 17 with a goal of 500 cans.

Members went to each classroom in the morning to collect cans and count them.

Canned goods were put in the display cases so everyone could see the progress.

The school exceeded their goal by collecting 647 cans.

Student Council members loaded all the cans into a truck this morning, and the cans were taken to The Mission.
