Late Summer Storm Causes Damage, Power Outages In Tulsa

TULSA, Oklahoma – 

A late summer storm left tree damage and power outages in Tulsa Wednesday night.

The storm hit around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, in about a two-mile area in Tulsa, knocking down trees with winds that got up to about 60 miles per hour.

PSO shows around 1,500 customers still don’t have power as of 10 p.m. At the height of the outage around 6 p.m., there were around 2,200 reported outages.
