Lake Road closing day and night for next few days for sewer project

Ponca City Now - July 19, 2019 2:21 pm

As work continues on an 18-inch sewer interceptor, Lake Road, between Pecan Road and Kygar Road, will be closed during the day and  night for the next few days.

Signing and barricades will be in place to detour and direct traffic around the construction site.

Recent flooding events caused severe damage to a 500-foot section, between two manholes on the north side of Lake Road east of Pecan Road. The Krapff-Reynolds Company is repairing and rehabilitating the sewer interceptor using pipe-bursting technology.

Any questions regarding this project may be directed to Darwin Haney, Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection Superintendent, at (580) 767-0485.
