Pioneer Technology Center’s Business and Industry Services division has a new leader.

Molly Kyler is now the Executive Director of BIS as of July 1.  She stepped into Mike Boon’s role on his retirement after 27 years in the CareerTech system.

Most recently Kyler has served as the Organizational and Leadership Development Director, assisting PTC with strategic planning as well as helping clients and business owners through leadership classes and business coaching.  Also in the past, she has filled communications and marketing roles as well as an instructor in the classroom.

According to Bruce DeMuth, Superintendent/CEO of Pioneer Tech, Kyler will still be involved in the navigation of PTC’s strategic planning and people development.

“Molly is a valuable asset to our team and has grown tremendously in her knowledge and expertise related to the BIS area. Through her involvement with the chamber she is well known and respected through the business community. We’re lucky to have her,” DeMuth said.

Kyler has been employed at Pioneer Technology Center for the past 19 years.  She holds two degrees from the University of Central Oklahoma — a bachelor’s of science in marketing education and a masters of education in school administration.

Kyler’s background is in marketing education and educational leadership. Some of her specialty areas include communications, customized curriculum development and training as well as executive business coaching and people development.

She has served as president of the Oklahoma Association of Career and Technology Education (OkACTE), past chair of the Ponca City Area Chamber of Commerce, board member for Eastman National Bank and the Opportunity Center Foundation.  She serves as Council Vice President and Ministry Team member of her church, Prince of Peace Lutheran, and holds a membership in the International Coach Federation.

According to Kyler, her strength as a leader for CareerTech comes from her versatility, which she attributes to her work in the classroom, business and industry services and communications and marketing. She says she is thrilled and anxious to fill this positon for PTC, which includes leadership over Adult Training and Development, Safety as well as Business and Industry Services.

Pioneer Technology Center’s BIS division assists all sizes of organizations. The team’s scope of expertise and key partnerships allow them to provide business solutions to small business owners, farmers, ranchers, entrepreneurs, manufacturers, CEOs, other business leaders and more.
