Kaw City Fire Department plans chicken noodle dinner

The Kaw City Fire Department is planning its fifth annual Chicken Noodle Dinner and Silent Auction at 6 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Kaw City Community Center.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12. All proceeds will go to the purchase of new equipment for the fire department.

A drawing will be held after the dinner for a choice of firearm (Glock 19, Ruger AR-15 or Remington Tactical 870) or $500 in cash. Need not be present to win.

Tickets can be purchased at the Kaw City Municipal Building or by contacting any Kaw City fire fighter. The dinner is co-sponsored by the Newkirk Masonic Lodge and the rifle is provided by Bootleg Hill Firearms.
