Kansas man drowns in Grant County

A 59-year-old Kingman, Kansas, man drowned shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday southeast of Wakita, OK in Grant County.
Daniel Mark Smith was pronounced dead at the scene by the Waukita Fire Department. His body was transported to the Lanman Funeral Home in Cherokee, OK.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol Marine Enforcement Division is investigating the incident.
