Ponca City Now - January 30, 2020 4:28 pm

Superintendent Shelley Arrott, Kabria Christian, and Dalana Hawkins, Po-Hi Assistant Principal.

The Heather Cannon Wildcat of the Week is Po-Hi Senior Kabria Christian.

“Kabria is a loyal and true Ponca City Wildcat who humbly exudes the characteristics of the Wildcat Way every day of her life,” Superintendent Shelley Arrott said.

“Kabria always does the right thing just because it is the right thing to do! Never does she do the right thing for recognition or accolades. It is just her nature to be uncompromising in her values. Kabria is very conscientious in mentoring others because she has been very conscientious in choosing great mentors to guide her. She sets high expectations for herself with her academics, attendance, activities, and service to others, and these high expectations are clearly represented with her wonderful grades, exemplary attendance, positive attitude, and devotion to serving others.”

Kabria is a Senior Ladycat Basketball player, Senior Class Secretary, Po-Hi Student Council Representative and is very involved with her church, Ponca City Assembly.

“Kabria, you have attained the goals you have set for yourself thus far in life. Whenever I think of you, I think of Integrity! You make great choices even when no one is watching. You are honest, and have strong moral principles. You represent the district, your family, and yourself with great pride and respect. We all recognize you do so, and we are proud to call you a Ponca City Wildcat. Your decisions now will lead to a great future for you!”

The Wildcat of the Week receives a Wildcat of the Week T-shirt, a Wildcat window sticker, and a coupon for a delicious burger basket from Ground Round. The award is sponsored by TEAM Radio, Heather Cannon Honda, Tyndall Family Dentistry, Ground Round, and Legacy Signs. The award is open to ANY Ponca City High School student.
