Hubbard Road bridge open

Kay County District 1 Commissioner Vance Johnson announced this morning that the bridge on Hubbard Road is complete.

Vance said the Oklahoma Department of Transportation opened the bridge on the Blackwell shortcut at 9 p.m. Friday.

He also said Friday that the contractor working on the project was forced to liquidate damages of $500 a day because of the delays in completing the project.
