OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – Oklahoma City police say a man who was shot during a late afternoon home invasion has died at a hospital.

Officer Travis Vernier says police responded Monday to a residence, where they found two people, one of whom had been shot.

Vernier says the man was taken to a hospital, where he later died. A woman was physically assaulted during the incident and was treated for injuries at the scene.

Vernier says a motive on why the invasion occurred is not known.

Two men driving a beige or tan sedan are wanted in connection to the incident. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call authorities.
