Growth and Development classes underway

Ponca City Now - February 12, 2015 9:40 am

Growth & Development, Abstinence, HIV/AIDS and Safe Sex Education classes are underway for the Ponca City Public School District.

District nurses held a parent preview night for parents/guardians to review the materials last November.

All parents received a notice that included an opt-out opportunity. If parents DO NOT want their child to attend these classes, they MUST sign the opt-out form or send a written note with the parent’s signature to the school office or the student’s team teacher. Any student who has opted out of the sessions will be provided an alternative education package at that time.
