Ponca City, OK – A Government Contracting Workshop is being held at City Central hosted by Dawn Brakey, the Bid Assistance Coordinator at Pioneer Technology Center. This training, scheduled for Wednesday, January 27th from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, is for businesses interested in exploring the government marketplace. The lunch and learn session will highlight similarities and differences between federal contracting and doing business at the state and local levels.

“We are excited to provide these free resources that help businesses determine their target audience and the ways to let potential government customers know they exist,” explained Brakey.

Participants can join the discussion to include the various registrations required and codes used such as the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) and Product Service Codes (PSC). This is the first of four sessions that will be offered each month through May of 2021. Call 718-4222 to register or visit pioneertech.edu/bis-events, the training is free, but you must register.
