Freeman named Athletic Director

Jared Freeman has been named the new Athletic Director for the Ponca City Public School District.

He has been serving as Dean of Students at East Middle School and has been teaching and coaching in the district since 2007.

“I am honored to continue my service to Ponca City Public Schools as Athletic Director,” Freeman stated. “I am excited to work with a great group of coaches, athletes and administrators. I am committed to providing a first-class experience, both academically and athletically, that has a long-lasting, positive impact on the lives of our young men and women.”

Freeman said “It is a great time to be a Wildcat!

“Our athletic programs are extremely excited about the upcoming construction that will upgrade our athletic facilities.  The scheduled construction projects will benefit all of our programs,” Freeman said. ”

“We would like to thank the community for their support of Po-Hi athletics.   We have tremendous student athletes in this community.   I would like to invite everyone to celebrate our athletes throughout the year and join us at one of our athletic events. We’ll see you in the stands!”
