Free “Day of the Dead” Art Class at The RecPlex

The Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting a free paper mache Calavera class as a part of a community wide celebration of Dia De Los Muertos.
The instructor led class will be held on Saturday, October 22 and Sunday, October 23 at 6:00 pm and will help participants create the calacas that can be used in their own Day of the Dead festivities.
Basic materials for participants will be provided and free tickets to the Poncan Theater’s showing of the movie Coco will also be included.
Open to all ages. Participants under 14 years old require parental supervision.
