Fire on roof of Oklahoma City mall, no injuries reported

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A fire on the roof of a northwest Oklahoma City mall was extinguished with no injuries reported.

Oklahoma City Fire Battalion Chief Benny Fulkerson said that the Saturday morning fire produced heavy black smoke and forced the evacuation of both a movie theater and the food court of Quail Springs Mall. Fulkerson did not know how many people were forced to leave the mall and said that a cause had not been immediately determined.
