Fire Forces Evacuation

THOMAS, Okla. (AP) – Firefighters are battling a fire and officials are ordering nearby areas evacuated after a fire and explosions rocked a manufacturing site in Custer County.

News 9 reports early Thursday morning that police confirm explosions hit a Danlin facility.

The television station says a Thomas Fire Department worker said evacuations had been ordered in the area immediately around the plant.

Officials say they did not know the cause of the fire or explosions. No injuries have been reported.
