Final payment made on Attucks Splash Pad

City Commissioners approved the final  payment of  $20,490 to Benchmark Enterprises, LLC, for the construction of the Attucks splash pad.

The total cost of the project was $145,490 and was paid for through a CDBG grant and the Ponca City Hotel-Motel Tax.

The completed installation includes new picnic tables and benches, the new splash pad play area and splash features, a new electrical service, and new connection to the sanitary sewer line.

The splash pad is located next to the Attucks Community Center on Dixie Avenue.
