Fifth Street Closing at Brookfield Ave. Begins Monday

The northbound lanes of Fifth Street at Brookfield Avenue will be closed to traffic beginning Monday, December 18, 2023 due to the installation of a sewer line for the soccer complex that is currently under construction at Fifth Street and Brookfield Avenue.
Both northbound lanes and the inside southbound lane of Fifth Street will be closed for the duration of this work.
Northbound traffic on Fifth Street will be detoured west on Brookfield Avenue, north on Fourth Street and east on Comanche Avenue.
Southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane but will not be detoured off of Fifth Street.
The work is expected to take one week to complete.
