Fatal Shooting Victim Identified by PCPD

UPDATE : The victim of the shooting at Paladin apartments on 07/13/23 has been identified as, 38 year old Andrew Lee Barton of Ponca City.
Original Release: Ponca City-On July 13th, 2023, at 01:48 am, the Ponca City Police Department received a report of a gunshot victim near the Paladin Apartments. Police located a 40-year-old male outside the 700 building with a single gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was transported to Alliance Medical, where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives are actively working the scene, gathering evidence, and talking to potential witnesses. The investigation is ongoing, and no additional information is being released at this time.
