Fancy Nancy Autographing with Robin Preiss Glasser Saturday

Team Radio Marketing Group - January 29, 2018 3:56 pm

Book illustrator Robin Preiss Glasser returns to Brace Books & More this Saturday to sign her latest book, “Oodles of Kittens.” This will be a very special event for young girls in our community.

In this book, Fancy Nancy returns in a purr-fect story about felines, canines, and making new four-legged friends. This hardcover picture book from the dazzling New York Times bestselling duo author Jane O’Connor and illustrator Robin Preiss Glasser is sure to be a hit.

Can’t attend? Call or email to reserve autographed copies.

About the book:

It’s raining, and Nancy hears a strange sound coming from outside. Nancy and Bree decide to investigate, and what do they find? Lo and behold! It’s oodles of adorable kittens! (Oodles is fancy for a lot.)

After finding good homes for some of the kittens, Nancy and Bree each get to keep one for themselves. That’s until Nancy’s new kitten meets her posh pup, Frenchy. Will Nancy’s two pets ever get along? Will Nancy be able to love them both the same?

About the event:

Attendees will get to enjoy cookies from the Salt Fork Kitchen in Tonkawa.

Robin always appears in fancy dress at her events and she invites all to wear their fancy clothes. Come and see what surprises she has for each child who attends. Boys are always welcome, fancy or not.

Robin always shows former bookstore owner Jerry Brace how to be fancy. What surprise will she have for him this time?

We must be special in Ponca City because Robin agrees to come here for a signing each time she has a new book. She has told us this may be her last visit here because the publisher is changing and the new one may not ask her to come to Oklahoma for future events.

She is also the illustrator for the Nancy Clancy series, which appeal to readers in grades 3 and above.

New bookstore owner Tara Smith says “We will have all of the Fancy Nancy and Nancy Clancy books on hand in case some have not read them.”
