OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – Oklahoma County Sheriff John Whetsel denies allegations that a man died due to excessive force by county jailers. Whetsel said Friday that 43-year-old Lorez Chambers was at the jail for less than an hour June 9 and was never beaten or in jail custody because he needed medical attention.
