No matter how much a painter knows, it’s always good to revisit fundamentals. We will cover painting “shapes”, not “things” with a quick warm up exercise, and go over drawing edges, values, and color. Jim will do a demonstration, then everyone can get started. We will paint straight through lunch.
As an organization, we want to show our appreciation to our members, therefore this class will be provided for free for current City Arts members in good standing and $150 for non-members. Jim will be utilizing oil paints in his demonstration, but participating artists can use whatever medium they prefer! All participating artists must provide their own materials (eg. Paint, water, brushes, canvas, etc.).
