Join us for the Opening Reception of “Anthea,” a fine art exhibition by Denae Smith. Smith is a visual artist, born and raised in Oklahoma, whose acrylic mixed media practice blends realism, abstraction, and surrealism to examine personal identity and cultural memory. Her work incorporates textural materials such as dried flowers, fabric, and plaster, creating layered surfaces that flow between two- and three-dimensional space. She has exhibited at multiple galleries in Oklahoma City, participated as a muralist for Sunny Dayz Mural Festival, and most recently shown at Red Dot Miami.
