49th Annual Kaw Nation Powwow

Come out to experience the Kaw Nation Powwow and enjoy dance contests, exhibitions, and audience participation for all ages. Various members of the Kaw Nation will descend upon Kaw City in full regalia on Friday night and Saturday to compete in numerous traditional dance contests such as fancy dancing. A traditional Native American supper will be served at 5pm Saturday and everyone is invited to attend. Visitors to the Kaw Nation Powwow will also enjoy an extensive selection of food and craft vendors. This event is free and open to the public.
