Emergency water main repairs affect residents on Drake, Lemon Tree

Team Radio Marketing Group - February 20, 2017 9:53 am

The 18-inch water main connecting the Meadows Ground Water Storage Tank and the North Water Tower has a major leak, reported Hong Fu, Environmental Services Director for the City of Ponca City.

“As the water main is buried under concrete and the size of it is 18 inches, the repair work will be a major task,” Fu said.

Starting at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 20, residents on Drake Lane and Lemon Tree Lane will lose water service and will probably remain without water until noon Tuesday, Feb. 21.

For more information, contact Hong Fu, Environmental Services Director, at 767-0490.
