Elm Street construction starts Monday

Construction on the final phase of reconstruction on South Elm Street, from Oklahoma Avenue to Grand Avenue, begins Monday. This photo shows work on a previous phase.

River Ridge Construction, LLC has entered a contract with the City of Ponca City to reconstruct the pavement and replace the water lines on Elm Street from Oklahoma Avenue to Grand Avenue.

The project is scheduled to begin on Monday, March 26. During the project, Elm Street, from Oklahoma Avenue to Grand Avenue, will be closed to all traffic.

The total construction time for the work is estimated to be 90 calendar days. Vehicles will not be permitted in the work area, and residents will need to find alternate parking. Signing and barricades will be in place informing motorists of the construction.

Representatives of River Ridge Construction, LLC have distributed informational letters to all of the residences directly affected by this construction.
