Today is the Business, Marketing, & Information Technology Education (BMITE) Day at the Capitol.
The goal of the program is to provide an educational experience to the students to learn about state government, as well as relate government in action with the importance of how it affects citizens, towns, cities, and organizations…like schools!
Likewise, it shows from BMITE programs around the state to Representation, Senators, and other elected officials why it is important to support education.
Pictured is Senator Bill Coleman with Mrs. Vina Gowdy and East Middle School 8th grade students – Taelyn Montague, Jhansi Rapeti, and Gabrielle Riley-Mitchell.
May be an image of 5 people and text that says 'OKLAHOMA SENATE'
