East Middle School Needs Fabric for Sewing Projects

Mike Seals - August 5, 2021 11:35 pm

The East Middle School Family and Consumer Science Department is in need of fabric for sewing projects.

If you have larger pieces (one-inch or larger) of material that you will probably never use, please consider donating it to Kim Sulivant’s classroom at East Middle School.

“Kids learn and use so many skills through sewing: math, measurements, reading, interpreting written directions, symbols, problem solving, finger dexterity, fine motor skills, creativity, patience, confidence and pride and they can mend heir own clothes,” said Sulivant.

Contact Kim Sulivant at 580-767-8010 to make arrangements for fabric drop-off or pickup.
