Dr. Phil to Join Lawmakers for Rally, Press Conference on Richard Glossip Case

OKLAHOMA CITY – Dr. Phil McGraw will join Rep. Kevin McDugle, R-Broken Arrow, and Rep. Justin Humphrey, R-Lane, for a rally and press conference at the Oklahoma State Capitol on Tuesday, May 9, to discuss the case of Richard Glossip and future efforts to prevent Glossip’s execution.
On May 5, the U.S. Supreme Court granted a stay of execution for Richard Glossip, who has been on Oklahoma’s death row for 25 years. The stay is temporary to allow the Court time to review petitions from Glossip. His execution was scheduled for May 18.
Dr. Phil, Rep. Kevin McDugle, Rep, Justin Humphrey, Glossip’s Attorney Don Knight, Sister Helen Prejean, Lea Glossip and Justin Jackson will attend the Justice rally at10:00 a.m. on the south steps of the Oklahoma State Capitol, Room G5, 2300 N. Lincoln Blvd. in Oklahoma City.
A press conference will be held at 1:30 pm at the State Capitol.
Dr. Phil, who was born in Oklahoma, has interviewed Glossip on his talk show.
