STILLWATER, Okla. –

It was a true showdown in Stillwater Monday night. OSU was back in action hosting #18 Texas Tech, the Pokes’ first game in almost a week.

In a well-matched battle between the Raiders and Cowboys that came down to the wire, OSU snags the victory in overtime, 74-69.

In the second half, the Cowboys’ energy was palpable as they manufactured a tough comeback against the Red Raiders. It was a true team showing of toughness.

This game went past the final whistle into overtime. A pair of free throws from Bryce Williams and a stunning chase-down block from Avery Anderson III put in the final dagger for the Red Raiders.

Kalib Boone with 18, Cunningham with 20 and Anderson with 16, led the Pokes in scoring. As a team, OSU shot 46% from the field and brought down 39 rebounds. The Cowboys struggled Monday night beyond the arc, shooting just 16%.

The Cowboys get a signature win to boost their potential tournament record, moving to 7-6 in the conference. They travel to Norman to face OU in a Bedlam showdown on Saturday. That game is set for 2 p.m.
