Cop assaulting suspect found

Ponca City police found the suspect who assaulted a police officer last night in the 400 block of S. Palm at 9:57 this morning.

Bobbie Ferrill, 34 struck Officer Zook with a full plastic drink bottle.

It was at the Valero on W.Grand just after 10 p.m and Zook was waiting on results of a warrant check on Ferrill.

Zook sustained minor injuries and Ferrill fled the area on foot when he saw another patrol car arriving.

He is a white male, slender build, about 5’10” and close to 150 pounds.

He has dark hair and eyes and was wearing a green camouflage coat with jeans.
