CONSTRUCTION ON PROSPECT AVENUE BEGINS SEPTEMBER 4

Stuever Dirtworks, LLC of Ponca City has entered a contract with the City of Ponca City to reconstruct a portion of deteriorated concrete pavement on Prospect Avenue immediately west of the railroad tracks.
Work is set to begin on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. The total construction time for the project is estimated to be 20 calendar days. The project will be performed in two phases with the inside lanes being reconstructed in the first phase and the outside lanes to be reconstructed in the second phase. The repair area is approximately 60 feet in length. During the project, traffic will be reduced to one lane of travel in each direction.
Vehicles will not be permitted in the work area. Signing and barricades will be in place on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 informing motorists of the construction. The pavement removal will begin on Thursday, September 5, 2024.
