Confused about parking?

Patrons may be uncertain about where to park when visiting the city’s new splash pad at Young Park, at Young Avenue and Jane Street.

City Park and Recreation Director Eric Newell said visitors to this small neighborhood park should park only on  the hard surface of the street and not on the grass. He said there is plenty of on-street parking area all around  the park.

One ADA-compliant parking space is being built today, July 18, Newell said. Any vehicle using the ADA space must have proper hang tags or other designation.

“The main thing is for everyone to have a good time,” Newell said.
